This long-standing event has been happening in South Park since 1964. Swing by on Sept. 18 or 19 to check out 130 different local artists’ work, plus you can enjoy food vendors, and even some live music at Art in the Park.
Escape rooms should definitely be on your radar this fall. Rain or shine, grab your friends and head to Breakout Lawrence for an awesome activity to do along Mass Street. Choose from unique escape room themes, including Y2K, Alice in Wonderland, Rules of Basketball, and Civil War.
The Lawrence Farmers’ Market
Whether you’re an eco-friendly trendsetter cutting down your carbon footprint or just love browsing through local vendors, then you’ll definitely want to check out The Lawrence Farmers’ Market. Swing by on Tuesday evenings after class from 4 PM to 6 PM (May 4 through Oct. 26) and sample your way through jams, honey, baked goods, and seasonal fruits and veggies before stocking up on your favorite staples to take home with you – and don’t forget your reusable tote bag!
When you’re not checking out all the digs along Mass Street, you’ll definitely want to be hanging out with friends in the arcade lounge or working on your game at the indoor basketball court at HERE Kansas.
